Presidential Decree No. 255/20 approving the Tariff Regulation for Water Supply and Wastewater Sanitation Services.

This Presidential Decree approves the Tariff Regulation for Water Supply and Wastewater Sanitation Services. This Regulation, consisting of 45 articles divided into six Chapters and three Annexes, establishes the calculation methodology and tariffs for the Services of the Public Water Supply and Wastewater Sanitation System, its indexing and periodic review procedures and application to the Managing Entities. In addition, it regulates the incidence of tariffs, objectives for the setting of tariffs, tariff principles, powers of the regulating entity of the water and sanitation subsector, tariff regime, required annual revenue, setting and reviewing required annual revenue and tariffs, disclosure and publication, administrative guarantees, transitional period and regulation. This Regulation applies to all legal entities that provide services for collection, transport, treatment and distribution of water and the collection, treatment and final destination of wastewater from public supply systems.
