Abstract
This Law approves the Regulation of the Interministerial Committee on Land Use and Urban Planning. This Regulation, consisting of 15 articles divided into two Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Committee, as an auxiliary collegiate body of the Head of the Executive Branch, in matters of land use and urban planning. The Inter-ministerial Committee has the following responsibilities: assist the President of the Republic and holder of the Executive Power in the process of elaboration and execution of territorial and urban planning; participate in the drafting of laws on land use and urban planning options; participate in the process of approving provincial and sectoral plans for land use and urban planning; participate in the implementation of the land use planning options, ensuring compliance with applicable legal principles and standards; participate in the preparation of reports on the implementation of the land use and urban planning options and regional and sectoral plans for land use planning, etc.
