Abstract
This Presidential Decree approves the Regulation on the Import and Re-export of Wild Fauna and Flora Endangered Species. This Regulation, consisting of 43 articles divided into nine Chapters and two Annexes, establishes procedures to be adopted to ensure the protection and conservation of biodiversity against the different threats which may represent the import, export, re-export and introduction of fauna and flora species from the sea listed in the Categories of the Angola Species List and the CITES Appendices. In addition, it regulates the following issues: the institutional framework and categories of species, the import and export of wild animals, non-timber wild plants, their parts and other things, their introduction from the sea, captive breeding and artificial propagation, surveillance, offenses and respective penalties.
