Abstract
This Presidential Decree regulates the Legal Framework for Temporary Employment Contracts, as well as the activity of assigning temporary workers and the respective contractual relationships. This Decree applies to temporary work companies, entities covered by the General Labour Law and complementary diplomas whose object is the temporary assignment of workers. Temporary employment contracts are concluded under the terms of the General Labour Law. Without prejudice to the legal provisions in force, the Temporary Employment Contract must be in writing and must contain the following elements: a) Identification of the worker; b) Professional category or description of the duties to be performed by the worker; c) The remuneration; d) Duration of the contract; e) Working hours and place of work; f) Date of conclusion. The Temporary Worker Assignment Contract can only be signed by workers who have a contractual relationship with the temporary employment agency, and all contracts that do not comply with this requirement are considered null and void.
