Presidential Decree No. 55/19 granting to the National Concessionaire the mining rights for the prospection, research development and production of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons within the area of Block 45.

This Presidential Decree, consisting of 6 articles completed by two Annexes, grants to the National Concessionaire the mining rights for the mining prospection, research development and production of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons within the area of Block 45, based on Article 44 of Law No. 10/04 of 12 November on Petroleum Activities. The concession area is specified in Annex A and geographical coordinates are mapped in Annex B. In the event of any discrepancy between the two annexes, the concession area that is made in Annex A prevails. The duration for the concession periods is as follows: a) Research Period of 6 years, from the effective date of the Service Contract with Risk; b) Production Period of 20 years for each development area, from the date of the declaration of the respective commercial discovery.
