Presidential Decree No. 59/25 approving Immediate Measures for the Operationalization and Dynamization of Aquaculture in the period 2025-2027.

This Presidential Decree approves Immediate Measures for the Operationalization and Dynamization of Aquaculture in the period 2025-2027 (MIODA). The general objective of MIODA is to promote the sustainable development of the Aquaculture Subsector in Angola, ensuring means, equipment, feed, fry, training and monitoring, in addition to creating adequate conditions for the production and commercialization of products. The specific objectives are as follows: Increase the productive capacity of the Aquaculture Sector; Develop critical infrastructure to support aquaculture; Promote training and continuous monitoring of producers; Facilitate marketing and market access; Structure the supply chain and encourage local production of inputs; and Formalize informal fish farmers and improve data management.
