Presidential Decree No. 83/14 approving the Regulation of Public Supply of Water and Water Disposal Sanitation.

This Presidential Decree, composed of 28 Chapters divided into 162 articles, approves the Regulation of Public Supply of Water and Water Disposal Sanitation.
This Regulation, establishing Public Water Supply and Sewerage, regulates the following matters: activities of public water supply and wastewater disposal, including setting rules on goods and means allocated to systems, networks for water and sewerage, subdivisions, groups of buildings, housing estates and residential villas, properties, non-domestic discharges, water connections and sewerage, provisional and definitive links, hydrometers, registration, contracts, quality of water and wastewater treatment supply, classification of economies, tariffs, measurement, collection, payment, management companies, customers, homeowners, housing developments, housing developments and establishes sanctions regime, applicable to private water supply and wastewater disposal, adapted systems relating to licensing of the activity, technical requirements of their facilities and their safety, complementarity of systems, drinking water quality and standards of wastewater treatment and compliance with the standards of public health and environment, and revokes delegated powers to the Provincial Governors in its territorial area, establish the fares charged by the companies or bodies entrusted with the public drinking water.
