Presidential Decree No. 84/21 on Management Measures for Marine Fisheries, Inland Fisheries, Aquaculture and Salt production for the Year 2021.

This Presidential Decree establishes the Management Measures for Marine Fisheries, Inland Fisheries, Aquaculture and Salt production for the Year 2021. These measures, consisting of 29 articles, aim to adjust the capacity of catches and fishing effort to the available potential of aquatic biological resources, to promote sustainable aquaculture, to increase and improve the quality of salt. In addition, they aim to monitor and regulate the following issues: salt production units, closed seasons, mesh sizes, the directed fishing and by-catches, biological sampling, the obligation to provide statistical information, the limits of the fishing quota for the year 2021, the substitution regime for boats, reserved areas, prohibitions, compliance with maritime safety rules, seal fishing management, continental fishing, fishing without granting fishing rights, aquaculture, offences and penalties, etc.
