Presidential Order No. 226/26 updating the Multisectoral Commission for the Prevention and Combating of Child Labour and extending the implementation of the measures set out in the National Action Plan for the Eradication of Child Labour for the 2026–2027 biennium, coordinated by the Minister for Public Administration, Labour and Social Security.

This Presidential Order updates the Multisectoral Commission for the Prevention and Combating of Child Labour in Angola and extends the implementation of the National Action Plan for the Eradication of Child Labour (PANETI) for the biennium 2026–2027. It aims to ensure continuity and consolidation of strategic actions for the protection of children's rights, aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The Commission is composed of several ministries, including agriculture, health, education, social protection, justice, and industry, reflecting a cross-sectoral governance approach. The Commission is mandated to propose and revise national plans, monitor their implementation, evaluate results, and suggest improvements. It also oversees compliance with key ILO Conventions (Nos. 138 and 182) on minimum working age and worst forms of child labour. A Technical Support Group (GTAPETI) assists in operational monitoring and reporting, including the preparation of annual reports.
