Abstract
This Letter ratifies the Protocol for the Protection of New Varieties of Seeds - Rights of Breeders and Seed Breeders of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and guarantees that it will be strictly observed. The National Assembly, under the terms of the combined provisions of article 161 and article 166, both of the Constitution of the Republic of Angola, approves the above mentioned SADC Protocol, by means of Resolution No. 35/24 of 3 May and complies with the legal formalities required for its ratification.
