Abstract
The Austrian Federal Government and the Government of the People's Republic of Bulgaria agree, in the interests of their trade relations and of free and open commercial ship traffic, that on the Austrian and Bulgarian part of the Danube navigation for merchant ships of both contracting parties is free provided that the legal provisions of the respective riparian state are observed. Article 2 establishes that on the Austrian and Bulgarian part of the river Danube to all merchant ships of the contracting parties shall be given equal treatment as far as fuel and food supply, use of public port facilities and the levying of public charges are concerned. The text consists of 15 articles.
