Abstract
The present Agreement enforces the Espoo Convention of 25 February 1991 to the mutual benefit of the Republic of Austria and the Slovak Republic. The Contracting Parties agreed to assess the environmental impact of certain activities at an early stage of planning and to notify and consult each other on all major projects under consideration that are likely to have a significant adverse environmental impact across boundaries. The text consists of 17 articles.
