Abstract
The present Agreement between the Republic of Austria and the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic concerns water management questions and measures in Austrian-Czech boundary waters, these are: a) stretches of watercourses, where the State border between the Parties runs; b) waters crossing state borders and waters adjacent to state borders. Article 2 establishes that water management issues and other related measures within the meaning of article 1 of the present Agreement refer to changes in the water regime, to regulation of watercourses, construction of flood embankments, prevention of floods and ice, land improvement, water supplies, prevention of pollution, use of hydropower, to bridges and ran over and to matters of navigation. The text consists of 22 articles and 3 Annexes.
