Air Quality Act for Heating Systems.

The Act establishes comprehensive regulations to prevent harmful air pollution from heating systems used for space heating and hot water. The law sets strict requirements for the installation, operation, and maintenance of heating and combustion systems, including mandatory emission limits, use of approved fuels, and regular inspections by qualified professionals. It mandates the registration of all relevant systems in a central database, obliges authorities and chimney sweepers to monitor compliance, and empowers them to order corrective measures or even immediate shutdowns in case of serious violations or imminent health risks. The Act also provides for public incentives to promote clean air, coordination with federal and EU standards, and penalties for non-compliance. The text consists of 17 Articles.
