Abstract
The present Ordinance regulates the earmarking and registration of pigs, sheep and goats. The Ordinance contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed such as “animal farm”, “transport”, “sheep”, “pigs”, “veterinarian information system”. The text consists of 34 articles divided into 7 chapters as follows: Sphere of application, definition of terms and cross-references (1); Veterinarian information system (2); Earmarking and bringing into circulation pigs (3); Earmarking and bringing into circulation sheep and goats (4); Duty to register (5); Bringing into circulation earmarks and official control (6); Final provisions (7). One Annex is enclosed.
