Abstract
The present Ordinance implements article 7 of the Veterinary Drugs Control Act (BGBl. I No. 28/2002) relating to the authorization of animal health services. An Animal Health Service is a permanent institution whose aim is to advice agricultural animal keepers, and, in particular, to reduce the resort to veterinary drugs. Article 2 indicates the requirements for the authorization of such services. According to articles 6 and 7, veterinaries and animal keepers must acknowledge in writing the duties listed in these articles. The Ordinance consists of 12 articles.
