Abstract
An Act to regulate the transportation of animals by air. Part I of this Act deals with the performance of the transportation. It outlines the contents of the transportation documents and treats issues such as fitness of animals for transport, accompanying persons, choice of travel route, available space, loading and unloading of animals. The safeguard provisions are contained in Part 2. The competent authorities may at any time control whether the prescriptions of this Act are observed. Finally, Part 4 sets out the penalties in case of violation, and also the final provisions. The Act consists of 23 articles divided into 4 Parts.
