Abstract
Purpose of the present Act is the protection of plants and plant products from diseases and harmful agents within the Land of Burgenland. The protection of plants from damages inflicted by huntable animals is, however, not regulated by the present Act. The Act contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed such as “living plants”, “living parts of plants”, “plant products”, “harmful agents”, “protective measures for plants”.
