Abstract
The ordinance mandates the regular inspection of plant protection devices used professionally to ensure their proper functioning and minimize risks to health and the environment. All equipment used for applying plant protection products must be checked every three years (or five years for new devices), except for certain handheld or biologically based devices. Authorized workshops must perform inspections according to technical standards and issue inspection reports and official labels (inspection stickers). Only equipment with valid inspection stickers may be used. The regulation outlines requirements for workshop authorization, documentation, and compliance with EU Directive 2009/128/EC on the sustainable use of pesticides.
