Abstract
The present Ordinance implements the Food Safety and Consumer Protection Act (BGBl. I No. 13/2006). In particular the purpose of the Ordinance is to transpose the Directive (EU) 2015/2203 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to caseins and caseinates intended for human consumption of 25 November 2015 into Austrian law. At the outset, the Ordinance contains a definition clause of the various terms therein employed. In the following, the text lays down provisions relating to production, labelling and marketing requirements. The text consists of 5 articles as follows: Sphere of application (1); Definition of terms (2); Requirements (3); Labelling (4); Final provisions (5).
