Conclusions on Effective waterway infrastructure 2024.

The Republic of Austria, the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Croatia, the Federal Republic of Germany, Hungary, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, the Slovak Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Ukraine in this document reaffirm the importance of the Danube for navigation purposes and in particular for transportation of goods to and from the Ukraine and reaffirm strong commitment to implementing the Fairway Rehabilitation and Maintenance Master Plan for the Danube and its navigable tributaries. Various measure to obtain good navigable status shall be carried out compatible with environmental legislation, in particular the Water Framework Directive and the Birds and Habitat Directives.
