Abstract
The present Ordinance enforces the Council Regulation (EC) No. 1234/2007 establishing a common organisation of agricultural markets and on specific provisions for certain agricultural products (Single CMO Regulation) of 16 November 2007 and the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 511/2012 on notifications concerning producer and interbranch organisations and contractual negotiations and relations provided for in Council Regulation (EC) No. 1234/2007 in the milk and milk products sector of 15 June 2012. Article 2 establishes that "Agrarmarkt Austria" (AMA) is entrusted with the execution of the present Ordinance. Article 3 sets out the conditions to obtain official recognition of producer organizations. The text – consisting of 9 articles – deals with the following aspects: general provisions, competence, recognition of producer organizations in the dairy sector, recognition of associations of producer organizations in the dairy sector, recognition of branch associations in the dairy sector, duty to collaborate, reporting requirements, toleration duty and final provisions.
