Federal Act amending the Chemicals Act 1996.

The present Act introduce some substantial amendments to the Chemicals Act 1995 (BGBl. I No. 53/1997). Inter alia, article 2, paragraph 11, dealing with definition of terms, such as “bringing into circulation”, “import”, “export”, “use”, “pesticides”, “state of technic”, “European economic area”, etc.; article 20 concerning import and export of hazardous substances and harmful organic substances; article 29 on Bringing into circulation and marking of detergents; article 40 concerning bringing into circulation of poisons are amended.
