Abstract
The Act introduces some amendments to the Federal Act on environmental sustainability testing and public participation (BGBl. No. 697/1993). In particular, a paragraph 4a is added to article 3 dealing with projects that must be subjected to a sustainability test, namely an environmental impact assessment, and the procedure to be followed for conducting and monitoring this test. Furthermore, the present Act amends article 18 of the Federal Act on the creation of a Commission for the Environment at the Ministry of the Environment (BGBl. I No. 114/2000).
