Federal Act amending the Planting Material Act 1997.

The present Act introduces minor amendments to the Planting Material Act 1997 (BGBl. I No. 73/1997). In particular, the Act amends, inter alia, article 12 on "Varieties of ornamental plants and fruit varieties” establishing that the registration of a variety with an official description must be carried out by the Federal Office for Nutritional Safety if the variety has been approved by the Federal Minister for Agriculture and Forestry, the Environment and Water Management, and the official description is given.
