Abstract
The present Law lays down provisions relating to forestry policing and forest guards in the Land of Vorarlberg. Article 7 establishes that new afforestation needs a licence for which the application procedure is described in article 8. The text consists of 40 articles divided into 9 Parts as follows: Use of forests (1); Wind protection devices (2); Afforestation (3); Division of forests (4); Fight against forest fires (5); Clearing of torrents (6); Forest surveillance (7); Forest Protection Bodies (8); Authorities, penalties and final provisions (9).
