Abstract
The ordinance designates specific areas as groundwater protection zones to secure the population’s drinking and utility water supply. These zones are precisely defined by geographic boundaries. The purpose is to preserve and manage these areas naturally while protecting groundwater from contamination, structural changes, and hazardous substances. Any land use beyond existing agricultural or forestry activities within these zones requires water law permits, ensuring that groundwater quality and quantity remain unaffected. In case of accidents causing potential groundwater pollution (e.g., spills of oils, pesticides, or toxins), immediate notification to authorities is mandatory to prevent or mitigate damage. The text consists of 4 Articles attached with the maps on geographical boundaries.
