Abstract
The present Ordinance amends the Drinking Water Ordinance (BGBl. II No. 304/2001). In particular, article 11 is amended establishing that the above-mentioned Drinking Water Ordinance transposes the Council Directive 98/83/EC on the quality of water intended for human consumption of 3 November 1998 into Austrian law. Furthermore, the Ordinance amends Annex I, Part B, annotation 6 concerning definition of pesticides. Moreover, the Ordinance lists pesticides whose presence is assumed in potable water.
