Abstract
The present Ordinance by the Federal Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, the Environment and Water Resources implements the Marketing Standard Act (BGBl. I No. 68/2007). The Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the control of the marketing of fishery and aquaculture products. In particular, the purpose of the Ordinance is to transpose certain EU-Regulations into national legislation. The text consists of 9 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Sphere of application (1); Marketing standards and admissible minimum size for fish (2); Consumer information (3); Reporting (4); Penalties and final provisions; repeal (5). One Annex is enclosed.
