Ordinance on Health Surveillance in Agriculture and Forestry (LF-VGÜ).

This Ordinance implements the Agricultural Labour Act (Landarbeitsgesetz, LAG) by regulating health surveillance at the workplace in the agriculture and forestry sector. It establishes the scope, conditions and procedures for fitness and follow‑up medical examinations of agricultural and forestry workers exposed to specific occupational risks, including hazardous substances, noise, reduced oxygen concentration, biological agents, vibrations, radiation, electromagnetic fields, night work and other work‑related hazards. The Ordinance sets out employers’ obligations regarding risk assessment, determination of health fitness, information of workers, documentation, data protection and access to medical examinations, as well as rules on medical supervision, exceptions and transitional provisions.
