Abstract
An Ordinance by the regional government of Vienna on the fight against the potato disease "Clavibacter". Article 2 establishes periodical controls to be carried out to detect the disease. Samples of stored plants must be analysed by authorized laboratories. Anyone suspecting the presence of "Clavibacter" on his field, or on stored potatoes, is due to inform at once the competent authority. Article 5 lays down detailed safety measures in case of contamination. For example, the area must be isolated and declared contaminated area; plant materials have to be destroyed, etc. The Ordinance consists of 10 articles and 2 Annexes.
