Abstract
The present Act introduces some major amendments to the Radiation Protection Act (BGBl. No. 227/1969). In particular, the Act rewords Part I on General provisions; Part II on Requirements for authorization and provisions on notification; and adds Part IIIb on Protection against natural radiation sources occurring in working activities. Moreover, an article 361 is added on Sphere of application and implementation of interventions; article 38 on Official control on the part of competent authorities; and article 40 on Transitional provisions.
