Abstract
The regulation governs the structure, duties, and legal status of the Salzburg Mountain and Nature Watch. It establishes voluntary conservation enforcement officers to support the implementation of environmental protection laws. These provisions are embedded throughout the regulation and focus on prevention, education, enforcement, and structural organization of conservation efforts. The officers must meet strict eligibility criteria and undergo training and examination. Their duties include public education, surveillance, enforcement of nature protection regulations, and limited authority to intervene in cases of violations. The regulation also defines organizational structures at the state, district, and local levels, outlines operational procedures, mandates proper conduct and reporting, and provides for uniforms, insurance, and compensation for service. Disciplinary actions and penalties for misconduct are also included. The text consists of 26 Articles.
