Abstract
The Ordinance sets detailed provisions concerning noise indices, assessment methods, threshold values, and requirements for the development of strategic environmental noise maps and action plans. It defines calculation areas, quiet zones, and the classification of noise exposure levels, focusing on noise caused by traffic on main roads and industrial activities. The regulation mandates public information and electronic reporting of noise data, establishes procedures for addressing noise conflicts, and outlines measures for noise reduction and protection of quiet areas. Health impacts such as ischemic heart disease, high annoyance, and sleep disturbance are assessed using scientific dose-response relationships. The text consists of 20 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Strategic environmental noise maps (2); Action plans (3); Establishment of main agglomeration and main roads, quiet areas (4); Transmission of data, reports and information of the public (5) ; Final provision s(6).
