Abstract
The purpose of the present Law is to promote the protection of nature, the protection and the maintenance of the landscape, as well as the conservation and management of the environment as living basis and living space for human beings, plants and animals in the Land of Styria. The text consists of 37 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); General provisions on protection of nature (II); Special provisions on protection of nature (III); Common provisions (IV); Nature protection entities (V); Fund for the care and maintenance of the landscape (VI); Penalties (VII).
