Abstract
The present Ordinance implements the Chemicals Act 1996. The Ordinance shall apply to substances and preparations classified as very toxic or toxic. In this Ordinance, only such substances are referred to as «poisonous». Article 2 establishes that anyone who uses poison or otherwise handles such poisons must take the necessary precautions to protect the life and health of humans and protect the environment against harmful effects. The text – consisting of 13 articles – deals with the following aspects: authorization to receive toxic substances, specialist knowledge, knowledge of first aid, confirmation of the rector or the supervisory authority, supply and delivery of poisons, conservation requirements, recording obligations, phone number of the poisoning information center, protective measures during storage and storage of poisons and final provisions. Seven Annexes are enclosed.
