Abstract
A piece of basic legislation in the field of nature protection in the Land of Tyrol. The text comprehensively regulates nature and landscape conservation in Tyrol across seven sections. It includes provisions on contractual nature conservation, general prohibitions and permits, and the protection of specific landscapes and habitats such as water bodies, wetlands, and Natura 2000 areas. It also outlines measures for landscape care, funding, and conservation fees, and offers protection for flora, fauna, and geological features like caves and fossils. Further sections address the issuance of regulations, designation of natural monuments, and compensation, as well as organizational matters, roles of advisory and enforcement bodies, and cooperation with municipalities and police. The final section covers procedural rules, enforcement, penalties, data processing, references to EU law, and transitional provisions. One Annex is joined.
