Abstract
The ordinance sets out regulations for the safe use and mandatory regular inspection of plant protection devices used professionally, aiming to protect human health and the environment. It mandates inspections of certain equipment every 3 or 5 years by authorized workshops, which must meet strict criteria and report annually to the regional government. Devices must bear a valid inspection sticker to be used, with exceptions for handheld or beneficial-insect-only equipment. Certified workshops across the EU, EEA, and Switzerland are recognized.
