Abstract
These regulations apply to the importation, transit and circulation of live animals, dead animals and other items as laid down in the Annexes. The text consists of 68 articles divided into 4 Main Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Trade of animals, goods and other items in third countries (II). This Part is divided into the following sub-headings: Sphere of application and exceptions (I); General import and transit provisions (2); Special import and transit provisions (3); Veterinary Border Control (4); Competent Authorities (5).
