Abstract
An Act to establish an Ombudsman at the Viennese regional authority for the protection of the environment. In particular, the task of the said Office is to implement regional Acts on the environment. The vacancy of post has to be published in the Viennese Gazette and the duration of the assignment is five years. Its tasks include, inter alia, the handling of appeal cases and giving information. Article 10 deals with the composition, constitution, agenda, meetings and rules of procedures of the Council. Furthermore, a report on the environment has to be issued every two years. The Act consists of 19 articles.
