Abstract
An Act to regulate the National Park of Danube-Auen. It defines at the outset its aims, i.e., to protect the beauty of the above-mentioned area, and to protect, preserve and promote its flora and fauna; moreover, its aim is also to obtain international recognition by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources. Then it outlines its scope of application. Part 2 deals with zoning and division of the ground, and with protective measures and prohibitions related to hunting. The indemnification of landowners is governed by Part 3. Finally, the Law sets out the administrative organization of the natural park. The enforcement of this Act is entrusted to the Administration of National Parks in Austria. The Act consists of 22 articles divided in 5 Parts.
