Abstract
The Ordinance provides for assignment of waste types for the purpose of climate protection, environment, energy and using technology in waste management. The text provides for codification and marking of waste types for hazardous waste, solid waste and specific subdivision for listed waste. The text further provides for the documents recording, observation for hazardous waste, liabilities of the waste holder and the owner of a landfill. Notifications with regard to waste classification should be submitted to the Federal Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology. The Ordinance further implements relevant EU regulations regarding waste disposal and waste listing. The text consists of 13 Articles and 9 Appendixes referring to different types and classifications of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
