Abstract
This Act, consisting of 52 sections divided into seven Parts and completed by one Schedule, provides for the establishment of an Aboriginal Affairs Planning Authority and an Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Council for the purpose of providing consultative and other services and for the economic, social and cultural advancement of persons of Aboriginal descent in Western Australia and for incidental and other purposes. The Act is divided as follows: Part I Preliminary; Part II Administrative provisions; Part III Reserved lands; Part V Financial provisions; Part VI Miscellaneous; Part VII Savings provisions. The Schedule deals with Constitutional provisions relating to the Aboriginal Affairs Co-ordinating Committee.
