Abstract
This Act concerns the interpretation of Acts of Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia and some other matters regarding legislation such as the effect of a repealed or expired Act. The Act grants regulation-making power to the Governor General for purposes of this Act and provides for jurisdiction of courts.
The Act also concerns the application of Acts in the coastal sea, i.e. the territorial sea of Australia and the territorial sea adjacent to a Territory and including the airspace over, and the sea bed and subsoil beneath, any such sea.
