Abstract
This Act, consisting of 112 sections divided into ten Parts and completed by one Schedule, establishes the list of the offences against animal welfare and sets a code of practice. Specific authorizations and licences are required for research, teaching and breeding. Permits are required for circuses and travelling zoos as well as for certain kinds of trapping.
