Abstract
The Act is divided into the following Parts: Preliminary (1); Abolition of certain matters (2); Liability for animals (3); Miscellaneous (4). The Act is completed by two Schedules.
According to the provisions of Part 2 the remedy at common law of distress of an animal damage feasant is abolished. Likewise, the tort of cattle-trespassing is abolished, according to the provisions of article 4. Part 3 concerns the general liability for damage caused by animals and the liability in case a damage results from the presence or the behaviour of animals on certain premises.
