Abstract
The 39 sections of the Act are divided into 4 Parts: Preliminary (1) ; Establishment, functions and powers of the Council (2); Constitution and meetings of the Council (3); Committees and working parties (4).
The Council is established is to facilitate the development of sound, consistent and comprehensive policies concerning the wool industry, through the active and co-ordinated involvement of that industry in the process of policy formulation. The Council consists of representatives of the various public agencies involved in the wool industry, a representative of the Commonwealth, and a wool grower.
