Abstract
For subsection 174(1) of the Act, this instrument provides that specified classes of goods must not be brought or imported into Australian territory unless specified conditions are complied with. Goods included in a class of goods specified in This instrument does not apply in relation to: (a) goods that are, or are intended to be, brought or imported into Christmas Island or Cocos (Keeling) Islands); or (b) goods that are, or are intended to be, brought or imported into Norfolk Island on or after 1 July 2016. Part 2 are conditionally non‑prohibited goods for the purposes of the Act. Division 1 applies to the following classes of goods: (a) live animals and animal reproductive material; (b) live plants; (c) animal material and goods containing, or made of, animal material; (d) plant products and goods containing, or made of, plants;(e) infectious agents and microorganisms; (f) fungi and goods containing, or made of, fungi. Division 2 contains other goods such as soil, water, used beehives and used beekeeping equipment, material that got in cotnact with horses, etc. Division 3 contains additional conditions relating to hitchhiker pests. 55 Biosecurity preparedness plans
