Abstract
This Act is composed of the following Parts: Preliminary (1); Permits for vessels and motors (2); Surveys and checks (3); Safety manning and checks (3a); Qualifications of crews of vessels (3b); Appeals (4); Load lines (5); Equipment (6); General (including offences) (7).
the Act applies to all fishing vessels except those going on an overseas voyage. Permit plates to be affixed in accordance with provisions of section 9. Information specified in section 10 shall be painted on vessel. The motor as provided by permit is to be used (sect. 12).
