Abstract
These Regulations, consisting of 87 sections divided into eight Parts and completed by four Schedules, implement provisions of the Environment Protection Act 1993.
The Regulations set out general provisions supporting the Act and provide for: environmental and development authorizations, and fees; specifications on the use and disposal of beverage containers; activities and persons that may cause site contamination, and accreditation of site contamination auditors; waste depot levies; etc.

These Regulations enter into force on 1 September 2009.
